I hope you're cruising through your workweek. If you are like me and have the week off, I hope you relaxing and having fun!
I've had quite a bit of fun the last two days. I was planning on taking pictures of all of my eats to show you what I ate when I was away or just super busy with friends, but honestly taking pictures was the last thing on my mind, so I forgot to take a few pictures. I do have some pictures from the last couple days, though.
Tuesday I went to Six Flags a bunch of outlet stores with my mom. It was an awesome day packed with fun, but Six Flags is about a 2 hour drive away from my house. To fuel up for the drive home, we had dinner at Johnny Rockets. If you've never been here, it's a fun hamburger joint, and it brings you straight back to the glorious 50's. I don't eat meat, but I still found something yummy to eat!
Boca burger on a whole wheat bun, tossed salad, diet coke, and
a few fries from my mom! (I took this picture half way through
eating......oops)
Yesterday, I started my day with a 4 mile run.
Pre run fuel: fage strawberry yogurt, Teddy's peanut butter,
sliced banana, Kashi golean, Barbara's peanut butter puffins,
& Special K vanilla almond flakes (also half eaten)
Post run smile!
Then I met up with one of my best friends from school and went on a 12 mile bike ride. It was very relaxing and we just talked about a lot of stuff the whole way.Later in the day, we went to see Friends with Benefits. It's so funny how during the school year I barely ever make it to the movies, but during the summer, I go almost every week.
Super cute and funny
Before I headed home last night, my friend and I stopped at a local ice cream stand and got ice cream of course!
Maple/raspberry creemee with rainbow
sprinkles! You better bet I ate it all : )
Today, I'm just plan on taking it easy. I have a sorority meeting tonight, but no plans besides that. Well, I think I'm going to go to the gym but nothing too exciting. To be honest, I'm having a little bit of a difficult time just "taking it easy". A lot of my friends are going up to Canada today, and I opted out of this trip. I mainly decided not to go for financial and practical reasons, but I also know that going up would push me way out of my comfort zone. I almost decided to go just to prove to myself I could push myself out of my comfort zone, but then I realized (with the help of my therapist) that I shouldn't make decisions just to spite Ed.
Besides I have a lot of fun plans in the next few weeks and some of them will definitely push me out of my comfort zone! More about this to come : )
Enjoy your Wednesdays!
First of all, that ice cream looks simply amazing... maple?! YES PLEASE
ReplyDeleteI have a very difficult time taking it easy and it's definitely something I am working on. I have made decisions to spite ED before and sometimes it turns out to be a great time and others...not so much. It's important to do things that you truly want to do :)
Ironically, I found you through tessa's blog haha and we're the two comments on this post! but i'm glad I found it, you are beautiful! that maple ice cream DOES sound good!
